Privacy
Website and form privacy.
The website provides information about Familiar Labs and a way to begin a conversation. Here is what those paths do with your information.
This website
Basic measurement, not advertising profiles.
This website does not use advertising trackers. Cloudflare hosts the site and measures basic page performance. We use PostHog to count page visits and understand which conversation paths people choose. The site sends the page path, the chosen path, the referring website’s domain when available, and a temporary identifier that lasts for the browser tab. It never sends the contents of an inquiry or application to analytics.
In our PostHog project, autocapture, session recording, person profiles, and IP retention are disabled. We also do not send analytics when a browser enables Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Cloudflare and PostHog still receive standard request information while processing a request, such as IP address and browser details. We do not use that information to build advertising profiles or follow people across websites.
Inquiry forms
Sent privately for a reply.
When you submit an inquiry or Forum application, the site sends the information you entered to Familiar Labs through our server and Resend, our email-delivery provider. It is delivered to our Google Workspace group so either founder can respond. We use it only to understand your note, assess fit where relevant, and reply. Please do not include sensitive client, employee, health, financial, regulated, or non-public company information in the first note.
An inquiry is not permission for Familiar Labs to quote it, publish it, anonymize it, or use it as research evidence. We ask separately before doing any of those things.
Terms of use
A conversation is not an agreement.
The website provides information about Familiar Labs and paths to begin a conversation. It does not create a client, membership, or service relationship. Any work, participation, pricing, or terms are agreed separately.
